Ministry Description:

 

Glasgow Baptist Church is seeking a Pastor who has been trained at an accredited seminary and has experience as a pastor. The Pastor is responsible to the church for proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, for using his skills in administrative leadership, and for engaging in pastoral care ministries to meet the needs of persons in the church and in the community. GBC is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia. We are a family-oriented church with a traditional worship service located in Glasgow, Virginia in the Shenandoah Valley, near the Natural Bridge of Virginia.  If interested, please submit a cover letter and resume to the Pastor Search Committee at glasgowbaptist24555@gmail.com by June 30, 2023.

 

Ministry Requirements:

  • Skilled in Biblically centered preaching and teaching.
  • Gentleness, sincerity and humbleness in the exercise of pastoral care and courteousness in leadership style. 
  • Hold to Baptist Faith and Message 2000
  • Live by the standard required in I Timothy 3:1-7
