Worship Minister

Position Overview: Bethlehem Baptist Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated Worship Minister to enhance the spiritual growth of the congregation in their Christian journey. The Worship Minister will work collaboratively with the Senior Pastor to lead in building a music program that is Christ-centered and biblically based. This is a permanent part-time position.

Key Resposibilities:  

1. Active church participation:  Be an active and professing follower of Christ, who will support the overall program of Bethlehem Baptist Church by being an engaged member.
2. Music Ministry Oversight:  Plan, promote and oversee a vibrant music ministry that effectively communicates the Gospel through diverse styles of music including, modern, contemporary, traditional, gospel, and other genres for both Sunday services (9:00 AM contemporary and 11:00 AM traditional). Be capable and enthusiastic about choir and praise team aspects of worship.
3. Budget Management:  Prepare and administer an annual worship budget that encompasses music, audio,and visual components.
4. Leadership Collaboration:  Work in conjunction with the Senior Pastor to plan services that resonate with the church's mission and vision.

Qualifications:

• A deep and growing relationship with Christ
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience in leading worship and managing music programs
• Proficiency in a variety of musical styles and skills in choir and praise team leadership
