Lead Payroll Specialist (Payroll Manager) (Full-time, Remote)

We are looking for a full-time Lead Payroll Specialist to join our Innovative Faith Resources Financial Services Team.

We are seeking a skilled Lead Payroll Specialist to oversee and direct the payroll procedures for the vast network of 250 churches that we serve across 28 states.

The Lead Payroll Specialist role is a supervisory position with oversight of direct reports. The candidate will need to bring a disciplined and detail-oriented focus as a remote employee providing our churches with a high standard of support and exceptional service.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated skill in payroll with a minimum of 5 years of experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to effectively supervise and delegate
• Ability to perform effectively in a remote work setting
• Ability to create and sustain systems of efficiency with strong attention to detail
• Ability to exercise a high level of confidentiality
• Experience with ADP payroll software (ADP WorkForce Now preferred)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF editing, and Outlook
• Minimum of high school diploma
• Ability to establish a secure and professional workspace in home with high-speed internet capability
• A heart for ministry
