We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our SBC of Virginia team in Glen Allen, Virginia. We are looking for a candidate with strong accounting/bookkeeping skills to work with our team on financial transactions, records, and reporting for multiple companies within our organization.  The candidate will need to bring a disciplined and detail-oriented focus while providing a high standard of support to our organization and ministries.

Qualifications:

  • Strong accounting/bookkeeping skills with a minimum of 1-year experience
  • Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to support multiple ministries and work as a team
  • Ability to exercise a high level of confidentiality
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PDF editing, and Outlook
  • Non-profit accounting experience preferred
  • Minimum of high school diploma
  • A heart for ministry
