Location: Bedrock Church Forest

Hours: 20 hours per week

Compensation: $24,000 annually

Reports To: Chris Dowd, Supervising Elder

Position Overview

We’re looking for a relational, organized, and ministry-minded individual to serve as our Student Ministries Director—someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a heart for helping middle and high school students and their families be rooted and growing together in Christ. The ideal candidate will be a disciple-maker who can lead students to encounter the glory of God, experience life together, engage their world, and expand the kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

Encounter the Glory of God:

  • Participate in Worship on Sunday mornings.
  • Interact with, equip, and encourage students and their parents regularly on Sunday mornings.
  • Connect students and parents with ministry opportunities through the Connect Table and Church Center app.
  • Organize and lead one annual retreat to foster deeper spiritual development.

Experience Life Together:

  • Develop and lead Life Groups for middle and high school students.
  • Create authentic community environments where students feel known, loved, and discipled.

Engage Our World:

  • Model and train students in personal and corporate evangelism.
  • Organize quarterly service projects for students to engage the Forest community.

Expand the Kingdom:

  • Organize and lead one mission trip annually to expose students to global and local missions.

Expectations

  • Must be a committed member of Bedrock Church Forest in good standing and aligned with culture and beliefs of Bedrock Church.
  • Be a faithful tither.
  • Attend staff meetings as needed to stay aligned with team priorities.
  • Proactive in the development and execution of ministry responsibilities.
  • Growing in personal relationship with God and engaging others with gospel.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong relational and communication skills with students and parents.
  • Ability to teach and disciple middle and high school students.
  • Experience in leading small groups and organizing events.
  • Ability to recruit, train, and lead volunteers and student leaders.
  • Ability to manage and propose an annual ministry budget, including submitting proposals for one-time expenditures exceeding $1,000.
  • Seminary/Bible School education preferred.
