Job Description: Part-Time Worship Leader

We are seeking a Part-Time Worship Leader who is passionate about leading others into meaningful worship and has a deep love for Jesus Christ. This role requires musical talent, leadership skills, and a heart for ministry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead worship during weekly services with excellence and authenticity.
• Proficiently play either guitar or keyboard while singing.
• Sing both solo parts and collaborate as part of a praise team.
• Inspire and encourage participation in worship, both from the congregation and the worship team.
• Teach, direct, and guide members of the worship team, including those who play a variety of instruments.
• Organize and lead rehearsals with worship team members.
• Set up and maintain sound systems, including proper monitor and microphone layout.
• Foster an atmosphere of worship that invites people not just to sing, but to truly engage in worship.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in guitar or keyboard and vocal performance.
• Prior experience in leading worship is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of sound systems, microphones, and stage setups.
• Ability to mentor and train other musicians and vocalists.
• A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, and a desire to see others connect with God through worship.
• Must demonstrate humility, spiritual maturity, and a team-oriented mindset.

Time Commitment:

• Part-time position with weekly responsibilities (rehearsals, services, planning).

Compensation:

• $16,000 to $20,000 annually
